Many thanks to my colleague Helen Edwards who is Events Coordinator here at the Careers Service for this post all about the forthcoming Edinburgh Graduate Recruitment Fair. At this time of year we see lots of students who are about to graduate come in to ask us if there are any jobs left. There most certainly are and events like this one are a great way to find out what’s on offer so make sure you add this date to your diary – Rebecca.
The Edinburgh Graduate Recruitment Fair is a great chance to find out about a range of jobs, courses, voluntary and travel opportunities open to you.
Where is it?
Edinburgh Graduate Recruitment Fair is taking place at Pleasance Sports Hall.
There will be over 50 different companies, postgraduate institutions and voluntary/charitable organisations at the event all keen to meet you. Exhibitors are coming from a wide range of different industries, so there is a wide range of different roles on offer. This event is open to all students and graduates, so come along and explore your options.
At the fair, there will also be a number of presentations covering advice for international students wanting to work in the UK, advice on making effective applications and advice on how to impress at interview. Please check MyCareerHub nearer the fair for timings and further details.
